Appointments
Orthodontics requires a series of office visits throughout treatment. Although the technology that we employ in our office allows fewer visits, we still require adjustments and monitoring right up to the time your treatment is completed. We hove a genuine concern and appreciation for your time and we fully understand that you have other commitments throughout your week. We strive to harmonize our scheduling system with your busy personal schedule.
We have two convenient locations in Fort Collins and in Loveland. In treating our younger patients, we appreciate that everyone would like their child’s appointments to be scheduled after school. Unfortunately, we cannot see everyone between 2:30 an 5:00 pm. To make our schedules run as smoothly as possible we like to schedule the appointments that require less time before and after school. You will be asked to schedule your subsequent appointment at the completion of each visit.
Long Appointments, Banding and Bonding:
These are more detailed and technique-sensitive appointments. Therefore, these appointments will be scheduled during our quieter morning hours.
Emergencies: (Pain, swelling or bleeding)
This usually lasts from trauma to the face or mouth. These patients will be seen as soon as possible and appropriate care given or referred to another specialist for treatment.
Repairs: (Loose bands or brackets, broken arch wires or ties/broken appliances or retainers)
These appointments are always scheduled during school hours at a specific time since they are long visits. The vast majority of your appointments over the course of treatment will be short appointments. By seeing our long-visit patients during school hours, it leaves more room in our schedule to see more patients after school hours.
Appointments Broken or Not Cancelled within 48 hours:
Another appointment will be scheduled but may require waiting 4 to 6 weeks. An appointment during school hours may be arranged sooner.
We will make every effort to work with your schedule!
